Administrative Assistant – Sales, Marketing, and Relationship Management

Driehaus Capital Management is a privately-held investment management firm that manages global, emerging markets, US growth equity and alternative investment strategies.  The firm has a diverse institutional client base comprised of corporate and public pensions, endowments, foundations, sub-advisory, family offices, wealth managers and financial advisors, globally.  

We currently have an exceptional opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to support our Sales, Marketing, and Relationship Management (SMRM) team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support (e.g. client & prospect correspondence, scheduling & preparation of meetings, maintaining calendars for the departments and key department personnel, etc.) and completes all administrative work (filing, written and email correspondence, copying, faxing, etc.) for the department.
  • Coordinates travel arrangements and prepares all necessary documentation (e.g. itinerary, materials, etc.)
  • Processes expense reports and maintains subscriptions.
  • Tracks and maintains PTO for the department.
  • Acts as point person for all local hotel corporate rate agreements.
  • Prepares Sales & Relationship Management meeting materials.
  • Plans and markets client/company events.  This may include booking conference rooms, planning menus, hotel accommodations, arranging for entertainment, transportation, etc.
  • Assembles and mails quarterly reports, flip charts and other marketing materials.
  • Assists with the on-boarding process for new SMRM department employees
  • Screens, handles and/or directs internal and external calls to the Marketing hotline.
  • Serves as a backup for the Receptionist during short term absences.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned by the Managing Director, Sales and Relationship Management.


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of administrative support experience, preferably within a sales team setting.
  • Knowledge of Investment Management/Financial Services preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
