Thomas Seftenberg is responsible for leading the firm’s sales and relationship management efforts in support of its strategic business plan. As a member of the business management committee, he functions as a strategic business advisor regarding key organizational and management initiatives. He has over 23 years of buy-side institutional sales, marketing and relationship management experience.

Prior to joining Driehaus Capital Management in 1999 he worked with Heller Finance, Inc. as an associate in the corporate finance group. Prior to that he was an associate in the structured finance group at Nomura Securities International, Inc. He began his career at The Northern Trust Company where, at the time of his departure, he was a bank officer in the private banking group. Mr. Seftenberg received his B.A. in political science from Wittenberg University and completed his M.B.A. in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago. He holds the Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
